Structure and organization of the Aero – space technology transfer office for crisis management and disaster resilience is formed and based on the native legislation requirements, the Act and statute of Bulgarian academy of science, Centers of Excellence and the good European practices for managing Technology transfer office.

Operating part for managing and coordination of the TTO is The Board consisting of three members. The strategic-making decisions for the TTO are being made by the Board. It also approve the annual report; coordinates and manage the staff; creates and approve the operating documents as business plan, internal operational management, programs for training etc.

Operational staff consists of five people:

  • Manager “Business development”
  • Manager “Technology and investment”
  • Expert “Administrator, communications and marketing”
  • Expert “Project management”
  • Expert “IT and electronic services”

The main activities in the different fields of science and technology are made of the project programming teams. Expanding of the human resources of the TTO on a project term is a main objective of the innovation policy, implementing of innovations, organizational changes and improving the TTO.
