The Technology Demonstration Module provides contributions in support of large-scale technology demonstration, pre-acquisition research and development projects in the aerospace, defence, space, EO and security sectors.
Technology demonstration represents a critical phase in the commercialization of new products. Demonstration activities involve moving new innovative technologies out of the laboratory, in order to test them in real-world settings to ensure that they fulfill their intended use in a safe and efficient manner.
Technology demonstrations allow technology evaluation earlier and cheaper than would be possible through the formal acquisition of new production capabilities.
